The Church of La Dolorosa is located in [Av.10-12/calle Central]. It is one-naved copy of San Juan cathedral in Puerto Rico. It was made in neobaroque style. It is distinguished with arched arcades divided each other by doubled columns. On the frontons on the sides of dome there are statuettes of angels. It is adorned by balusters and is distinguished also by the clock put under the dome.
At the Mass at 6:30 PM, after the Holy Rosary that has been running for over 100 years to pray in the temple, it becomes a celebration in San Martin de Porras, also for many years, all 5 of each month.
In other times, the temple was crowded and formed a racket at the time when some parishioners walked the aisles with baskets of bread spreading around bollito blessed. That bread is the symbol of brotherhood of Martin fray with the poor.
In addition, at the side of the railing that separates the filigrees sector facing the altar was placed a small box where people embedded with paper petitions to the saint.
At the end of the Mass, if one wants to go up until the bakery, it is in front of what was in the cinema Metropolitan Street 0, Avenues 4 and 6 and there also distributed small pieces of bread, as signals of devotion.
