While many of the spots below can be found close to one another at “La Calle de la Argura” others are located otherwise within different spots of this vibrant town. Next the listing and a short description:

Tavarua Surf and Skate Bar: One of the few survivors of the old generation of “Amargura lane” clubs. Featuring tropical, reggeaton and similar musical tendencies, normally flocked by young people.

La Villa: on constant renovation status for already some years; the once special commodity of freethinkers and old generation “Trova” fans is now rechanneling its focus. Now, attempting to reach wider audiences, it is located next to Tavarua in Calle de la Aamargura.

Touch Bar: located on the lower floor and right beneath the main entrance of Mall San Pedro, attracting young crowds to its over lively ambient. Popular Music genres can be enjoyed there.

Olio: fine dining and pleasant ambient. The Fusion-Mediterranean palette is of both decent prizing and fine tasting qualities. Accessible via Barrio Escalante or through Main Yoses lane, by Intensa Language Learning Center.

Jazz Café: The Chanteuse Bar par excellence. Roomy spaces and fine customer attention. Live Music offers a different choice depending on the day of the week. On Main San Pedro Road.

Rio: The definite Soccer Match-Lazy afternoon hang out spot for many ticos. Open Air and indoor spaces combined. On Los Yoses Main, near Mall San Pedro.

Il Pomodoro Ristorante: one of the oldest italian cuisine establishments of Costa Rica. Fine Italian meals. On back road to Outlet Mall.

Qbico and Nova: The first a Lounge-styled bar of electronic spirit and the second a more juvenile spot of multiple music score. Both located in Los Yoses area.

Retrovisor: the ultimate 70’s-80’s remembrance spot, decoration and musical themes make for fine old and new memories. Between La Hispanidad and La Bandera Rotondas.

Sand Rock Bar: its name says it all; loud rock, dark vintage clothes and attitude conform the oldest running hard rock hang out place in San Pedro. Near Mall San Pedro.
